College Council
The College Council is a major governing body of all schools, providing planning, funds and developments within the school.
At Mount Waverley Secondary College, the College Council puts student learning and wellbeing at the heart of all they do. The council is comprised of parents, community and student members as well as Department of Education and Training (DET) members.
The aim of the College Council is to enhance educational opportunities for all Mount Waverley Secondary College students. They develop, review and update school policies, approve budget and monitor expenditure, and raise funds for school-related purposes.
Sub-committees of the College Council
Council currently has three sub-committees:
- Education
